Japanese Department of College of Foreign LanguagesWon the ThirdPrize of "Japanese Speech Contest on Both Sides of the Taiwan Straits in 2017"
On September 8th the"2017 Cross-Straits Japanese Teaching Symposium and Speech Contest" was held in the report hall of the Foreign Language College of Jilin University.
The conference was organized by the Foreign Languages College of Jilin University, Northeast Asia International Language and Culture Research Base, Jilin University, Northeast Asia International Language and Culture Research Center, Ministry of Education of College Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee, Chinese and Japanese Teaching Research Association, the Japan Foundation and the Tumen River International Cooperation Institute. The competition is known for its authoritative and academic evaluation. It promoted cross-strait Japanese learners' learning enthusiasm and deepened their friendship. It also provided a platform for cross-strait experts and scholars to learn from each other.
In the competition, Yin Yue and students from 16 universities including Jilin University, Tongji University, Renmin University of China, Luoyang Institute of foreign languages, Dalian University of Technology, Taiwan China Fu Jen Catholic University, Tamkang University, Soochow University, competed with each other. With solid Japanese skills, excellent performance, Yin Yue won the third-prize, which brought great honor for our school.
