Student from Foreign Language College Won the Third Prize in the 12th National Japanese Speech Contest (Northeast China Region)
The preliminary round of the 12thNational Japanese speech contest in Northeast China region was held in Jilin University on May 13 by China Education Association for International Exchange, Japan Economic News Agency and Chinese Japanese Professor Meeting. The number of the participating universities was up to thirty-four, which broke the history record of the contest. The contest was divided into two parts: proposition speech and impromptu speech. After the fierce competition among contestants, Nan Zhenghua, the 2013 Japanese major student of Foreign Language Department in our school, won the third prize. The three teachers of the Japanese major in our school, including Quan Yongnan, Jin Lianhong and Yamashita Urashi, won the Excellent Direct Teacher prize.
