The 2015-2016 commendation meeting for student affairs was successfully held at our school’s Comprehensive Building on December 9, 2016. Those who attended the meeting included Party secretary Zhao Liang, Dean Zheng Xianri, Deputy Dean Cui Xuebo, director of Caring the Next Generation Committee Liu Wen, director of the Student Affairs Office Pei Xianghua, League secretary JinChunxian, as well as department Party secretaries, head of all the departments, counselors and commended teachers. The meeting was hosted by League secretary JinChunxian.

The meeting convened with the solemn national anthem. First, the audience reviewed the achievements of student affairs over the past year through a video. Then, Pei Xianghua, director of the Student Affairs Office, announced the commendation decisions. Also, the leaders conferred the certificates and awards on the conferees. Piao Taiyu, an English major of grade three made a speech on behalf of the honored students.

At last, Party secretary Zhao Liang made a speech to conclude. He made a high compliment on the achievements of student affairs over the past year and gave congratulations to the advanced individuals, which should be learned by all the students. Also, he said that being based on students, having the correct idea of education and innovating the management mode of students are the main contents of student affairs. The “4+2” work mode must be insistently practiced. He proposed that our college continuously develop the instruction of academic atmosphere and culture in the future work. He hoped that students could make persistent efforts to realize their dreams. The meeting ended in the melodious school song.

In the meeting, not only have the advanced individuals and collective been inspired, but also, they have set good examples for all the students, the meeting made a conclusion about the work over the past year, which has provided the valuable experience and specified direction for the future work.
