The 4th Russian Drama Contest, hosted by the Russian Department, CFL of YBU, began at our school’s Academic Lecture Hall of the Comprehensive Building on November 28, 2016.Those who attended the ceremony includedPiaoZhehao, Lin Lijuan, Wang Lixia and Liu Shuming, four teachers, counselor Yan Wenying, Жаннаand Елена, two foreign teachers.

The show was colorful, including wonderful and smooth dialogue and outstanding imitation. Those shows brought by classmates won applause and cheering from audiences. The plot of the drama competition was fascinating and the actors’ performances were good, which brought unique Russian charm. Not only did the performance convey warmth, but it was also vivid. Humorous plots in the play warmed up the audience and added charm to works, leaving endless reverie and sentiment.

After fierce competition, the result was declared. “Absurd Experience at the Supermarket” was awarded the first prize in the group contest. “Development of Fighting Nation” was awarded the second prize and “On the Bus” was awarded the third prize. Chen Fang, a 2015 Russian major, won the Best Actor. Tian Jingling, a 2015 Russian major, won the Best Actress. JinXueyu, a 2015 Russian major, won the Best Director.

This drama contest provided classmates with a platform to show their Russian talent. It created a good environment for Russian learning, advancing Russian cultural events on campus as well as demonstrating the qualityof our Russian learning, thus boosting Russian teaching.
