The school welcome party for the 2016 freshmen was held at our school’s Student Club on October 19th, 2016. Those who attended the ceremony included the Party secretary Zhao Liang; the dean of the school, Zheng Xianri; deputy deans Quan Yongnan and Cui Xuebo; Liu Wen, director of Committee on Care for Children; Li Guanghe, the director of the school office; Pei Xianghua, the director of the Student Affairs Office; JinChunxian, secretary of the CFL Committee; as well as department Party secretaries, heads of all the departments and disciplines, class advisors and counselors.
The party was opened with the long drums dance with Korean-Chinese characteristics. The following Dances "Boombayah", "Temple", "Hard-carry", "Body party" made the party full of passion. Also, there was a Russian dance “Swan Lake”, Japanese dance, English musical “I’m yours”. The show gave a full interpretation as the motto of CFL: “Virtue and Erudition; Diversity and Integration; Practice and Persistence"，and showed the youth and passion of CFL. The drama "college life" shows the freshmen’s collage life. Finally, the welcome party ended perfectly with the dance “Swing baby” by 13th foreign language school student union.
The hosting of this freshmen welcome party enhanced the communication of freshmen, enriched the after-school life of the freshmen, and provided a good chance for freshmen to exhibit themselves. This party not only showed the multi-language characteristics and the diversification of the CFL. At the same time, this party expressed the cultural characteristics of multiracial and established a foundation to national solidarity of CFL.
